The FBI is offering a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two unknown suspects responsible for the homicide of Amit Patel.

Details:

The FBI's Atlanta Field Office and the Columbus Police Department in Georgia, are seeking the public's assistance in identifying the two unknown suspects responsible for the shooting death and armed robbery of Amit Patel. On December 6, 2021, the victim visited the Synovus Bank located at 4505 Buena Vista Road in Columbus, Georgia, to deposit operational proceeds from his local business. As the victim approached the front door of the bank, two unknown suspects, driving a stolen Toyota Tacoma with missing license plates, pulled into the parking lot. One of the unknown suspects exited the vehicle, pulled out a firearm, and shot and killed the victim as he was attempting to enter the bank. After shooting the victim, the unknown suspect robbed him of all the U.S. currency he was carrying. Both unknown suspects departed the parking lot in the stolen Toyota Tacoma.
