Details:
The Federal Bureau of Investigation in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is seeking information regarding the robbery of a Gardaworld security van and its driver at the Rite-Aid located at 5214 Baltimore Avenue in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. On November 22, 2024, at approximately 07:24 a.m., a Gardaworld security van and its driver were robbed while the driver went to pick up a cash drop. Shortly after the van arrived, a dark-colored Buick Enclave arrived and parked on the passenger side of the security van. One suspect, wearing an Amazon vest and a ski mask, exited the vehicle and opened the trunk. When the security van driver exited the store and got back to the vehicle, the suspect standing at the trunk attacked the driver with a baton-style weapon. During the assault, the driver of the Buick Enclave, wearing all black clothing and a backwards hat, exited the vehicle and assaulted the security van driver with brass knuckles. A third suspect climbed into the driver seat of the Buick Enclave and backed the car out of the space. The suspect with the backwards hat took the security driver’s pistol and got back into the Buick. The first suspect, with the Amazon vest, continued to assault the driver with the baton before taking the bag with the Rite-Aid money. The first suspect then got back into the Buick before all three suspects sped out of the parking lot in the Buick Enclave.
